  <title>NAHRA Judges Requirements</title>
  <link>http://nahranews.org/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=144</link>
  <description>Members,
The NAHRA Rulebook has long been recognized as the best in the game, especially when it comes to evaluating the all-around retriever. In an effort to ensure that the standards for testing hunting retrievers are conducted fairly and consistently, the NAHRA Board of Directors has created guidelines regarding judging standards and expectations of NAHRA judges. The following areas are addressed within the Judging Requirements Policy. This policy is effective as of 01/01/2010 and can be found on the NAHRA website.

Judging eligibility requirements
To ensure that there are fair and consistent standards by which all NAHRA participants are judged, it will be required that all judges attend an approved judges clinic on a periodic basis to maintain their NAHRA judging credentials. It is the intention that these clinics will promote consistency and collaboration between existing NAHRA judges and enable all to learn from each other’s experiences.

NAHRA Judges code of conduct
Realizing the importance that NAHRA judges the play in the success of individual weekend tests and also to the overall success of the NAHRA organization, it is important that all judges represent NAHRA in professional and positive manner that is consistent with the NAHRA philosophy.

Apprentice Guidelines
To aid new judges in acquiring the skills and knowledge to be a successful NAHRA judge it is important to give them the opportunity experience NAHRA judging prior to their first judging assignment.

Sample NAHRA Judges Scoring Sheet
This is a template for which NAHRA judges are free to use or modify. While it is not mandatory, it is recommended for first time judges.

We want you to know that we take our partnerships seriously and plan to help you exceed your growth expectations. We also encourage you to take every opportunity to ask us questions or provide us with feedback on how we can help you. <title>Message to Members</title>
  <link>http://nahranews.org/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=140</link>
  <description>My fellow members,

In the coming months you will see that NAHRA has secured some National Sponsors as well as companies and individuals who have purchased banner advertisements. We hope everyone will support these people who have now shown support for us. It will now be on you the membership to do your part in helping us to keep these folks coming back as well as attracting new clients and sponsors through your support of their products.

We are not asking you to change the products you buy and are comforable with currently. What we are asking you to do is if you are going to purchase products from these sponsors and or vendors, please let them know you are a NAHRA member, every time. This will assist us immensely with our future negotiations with them. You all wanted NAHRA to change and go after sponsors and sell advertisements, we are! So make sure that the work that our generous volunteers have put in does not go to waste by supporting their efforts. We are not asking for much, just tell the vendors you are a NAHRA member!

This is finally our chance to get NAHRA financially stable and move towards new growth. Don&#039;t forget, support our sponsors and vendors by making sure they know you are NAHRA!

Frank Plewa
NAHRA President</description>
